That car is long gone. But my point was, I used those as off road
lights, and only lit them up at folks that refused to turn off their
own high beams. I even had a Maryland trooper look at them one time
(admiring the mounting job). I've seen some offroad lights on Beetles
mounted on the top of the vehicle.

My eyes tend to be extra sensitive to dazzle at night, and I get
irritated by folks using their high beams erroneously. I try to let
them know what it is like personally. One flash was usually enough.
Continuous was painful.
