Not now, but they might be. And when and if they are, the new owners will be searching the web to find out if the nuts and bolts on the car were original. Just watch an MGA (to name another car that wouldn't have been considered at one time to be collectible) owner bend down to see at a glance if the fender washers are "right."

When my grandfather bought his 55 Chevy and his 63 Impala new, both cars were as common as, well, dirt. He would have laughed so hard if anyone had suggested that either might someday be considered "valuable" to a collector.
