Never solved this problem with my 84 Westie 1.9L (well now I assume it is solved, with my newer motor).
Whenever the Van was running hot, or it was hot out, it would not start until the motor cooled down for about 10 minutes. However, it would ALWAYS start with a pop of the clutch, hot or cold?!?
One time I was entering an African Jungle drive through safari near Cleveland, and the thing stalled right at the entrance, I had to wait the 10 minutes, blocking everyone!
When I was reading about Geza's "Strange no-start problem", I wondered if he tried a push-start?
Just wondered if anyone else ever had the "Hot Start" issue, and if so, how did you fix it?
