I used to play trombone and guitar but can't find the time these days. By profession I'm a mechanical engineer and project manager designing power plants in California. Being that I'm at the beginning of my career most of my daylight time is spent at work. Other hobbies include bicycing (road & mountain), house maintenance, camping, and van maintenance. So I would say that I'm well rounded but not really artsy. I enjoy my '84 Westy (brown) for it's function, uniqueness, and many cool features. Someday I would love to have a gathering in or near Sacramento, CA of vanagon owners to have a BBQ and swap stories and meet up. Is anyone interested? My next big project is to install an air conditioner from scratch. My van doesn't have one and I plan on starting this winter. New or used has anyone ever done this?
