Sorry dude, all I was replying to was offset fit. 1971 to 1991 are bascally
the same,I've no idea on a '56. Your wheel would mount more than 2 inches
further in than a stock wheel. Obviously, it won't fit without a spacer or
adapter. 2 inches is a huge difference to try to compensate for. I'd say
find another set of wheels.
If you already have an adapter that changes it from 5/112 to 5/205 which
sounds crazy to me, talk to whoever sold you the adapters.
