I was pretty sure that not every bike I remember was right foot start, but I'm known to cut a corner here and there. <G> I don't believe, but again I could be wrong, that Uncle ever mandated where the kickstart lever ought to be. I'm one of them slobs who kind of misses the thing- it's kind of hard to bump start a Kawasaki with the "positive neutral" feature...

The thing that really cracked me up about the regs was the one where the shift pattern had to be embossed on the case...way down there where you gotta get on your hands and knees in order to be able to read it!
