Hi Mike,

I can say from experience that the BugPack header and muffler will increase power slightly, and will sound nice and throaty. Can't say as I've ever seen one affect the CHT gauge reading though.

The bad news is that they will only last two years at maximum before coming apart. After that they are loud as all get out.

I prefer the stock exhaust for reliability & economy.
