Hey guys, thanks for insights re camping interiors/functionality and crash safety. I'm still open to more info, but obviously the Westy interior is better, or at least suites my needs better. As for safety I can see that under the right circumstances, crash impact is transferred all or partly to frame. Certainly provides hope for "walking away" even if impact is felt more. (less crumple zones than modern vehicle) Plus interesting to see:

True to my nature, I'm worrrying too much. I'm sure it'll just take one trip in some decent weather to help set my head straight on all this.
