Subject: Speaking of Just Kampers/ sill skirts
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I have an old "Just Kampers Katalogue" that says on the cover "1968-1992 10th edition". Probably from 6 years ago, maybe more.

On page 44 there is a "Body Kit" #JK2541 for 395.00 pounds

The kit includes the black all metal wrap around South African bumpers, both front and rear, a chin spoiler, and something they call "sill skirts."

The sill skirts run as low as possible on the body between the front and rear wheel wells. One sill skirt on each side. It looks like they cosmetically cover up the weld or seam down there. (This would all be for busses without factory fiberglass cladding.)

The sill skirt looks to be about 2", it's black and would literally only cover that spot welded (?) seam.

I've never been able to find them on Just Kampers website or seen them anywhere but in the above mentioned Katalogue. The thumbnail on thier homepage of the white Vanagon looks the same as the picture from the katalogue, but it's so small on the website you really can't see the sill skirts.

Anybody seen 'em, can get 'em, want 'em?

Best, Jeff 83.5 Westy
