Hahaha, that's funny.  When I was just getting started with "tinkering on
cars" my '55 bug on my '70 running gear (with 100K) would do exactly the
same thing...what a PITA.  I gave up trying to figure out what it was and
put in another engine.  That fixed the problem too. ;o)
