I tried this size 9 years ago, but developed weeping/leaking, even when
using the good factory clamps, which only clamp so tight.  I went back to
the original 7mm stuff - no more leaks.  I have used 1/4" high pressure fuel
hose which is equivalent to 7mm, 5/16 is too big, at least for mine.
