I tried this size 9 years ago, but developed weeping/leaking, even when using the good factory clamps, which only clamp so tight. I went back to the original 7mm stuff - no more leaks. I have used 1/4" high pressure fuel hose which is equivalent to 7mm, 5/16 is too big, at least for mine. -- Jim Thompson 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *Have a Happy & SAFE Holiday* ********************************** On 12/26/06, Geza Polony <gezapolony@sbcglobal.net> wrote: > > I just replaced the narsty old HP fuel lines on top o' the engine with > 5/16", not 7mm, lines from the local Kragen.
