I think it is easiest to compare to stock wheels and see what the difference is.

14x6 ET30 is one example of what VW designed, althougth there is some extra room there.

An 8 inch wheel is going to be 1 inch further in than a 6 inch wheel (and 1 inch further out) assuming it had the same offset. The offset of 62 is measured from the wheel center not the edge of the rim, so you take 62 minus 30 which is 32 MM on top of the 1" due to the wider wheel. So add together the 1 inch(25mm) plus 32 MM, and it's more than 2 inches. That is a huge difference and I wouldn't go there. You could buy adapter/spacers (google wheel adapters) but I think other people would say pass on these wheels and find something more suitable.
