the problem of the brackets. There have been a few of those brackets which
have broken in the past and about one year ago the brackets were re-designed
and all new STEBRO/Vanagon 2.1 Stainless Steel Mufflers now come with these new
brackets. What will be done in your case is STEBRO will ship you a set of
the new brackets and reimburse you for the local welding on of the new
brackets. This will save you the time of shipping your muffler to STERBRO and
having them repair it and shipping it back to you. Meanwhile, you can have any
good welding shop familiar with the welding of stainless steel tack weld the
cracked bracket either installed or off depending on the access to the crack
and the ability of the welder. If you have any problems reaching Dan at
