No, but you did not indicate if you have a 1.9 or 2.1.

I only have 1.9 Ansa mufflers here to look at. The flanged end with additional bracing on the flanges goes towards the catalytic converter. The none-braced flanged end is for the tailpipe.

I haven't seen the 2.1 Ansa, so I can't say.
