<grin> Shows what happens when I haven't had my morning Dr Pepper (don't drink coffee-yuck!) <grin>

I looked at a Dansk 2.1 and while both flanges are braced, the flange on the end of the longer pipe goes to the catalytic converter. The Ernst on a customer's 90 Van that was just here picking up parts is the same way. So I imagine the Ansa would be configured similarly. And like I said before, the tailpipe flange is more rounded than the opposite end. -- Jim Thompson 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *Have a Happy & SAFE Holiday* ********************************** On 12/28/06, Mike Collum <collum@verizon.net> wrote: > > The subject line says 87 vanagon .... ;) > > Mike > > > Old Volks Home wrote: > > No, but you did not indicate if you have a 1.9 or 2.1. > > > > I only have 1.9 Ansa mufflers here to look at.
