Well... I'm a "Jack" of all trades, education is a BA in Economics U of Michigan, 1982 - minor Geography..., 30 years of working in the travel industry, designed and built 3 homes from the ground-up, oldest son 23 has a Bachelors of Fine Arts and Bachelors of Architecture from RISD, and he was just about brought-up in our 84 Westie since I have owned it since 1987. (the which came first scenario, maybe my Westie led to the artsy). I design and build computers, support Travel Industry Technology (geek side), studied Commercial Art for 4 year on the side. Owned a Laser Sail boat since 1984, love the outdoors, and refuse to part with my Wolfie.

As for the "Fartsy"... Well, I do like my beans when I camp!

Jack

I'm curious: how many artsy-fartsy folks on this list? Is there a relationship between this unfortunate disorder and loving vanagons? There is a stereotype of hippies/vw buses, but does that still echo on with the 80s version of the bus? BTW I count myself as one.

Nathaniel
