Funny thing is, with my three SVX conversions into Syncro vans I have not had any issue with the half shafts or CVs. They were all brand new when they went in and one of the vans was upgraded to Porsche CVs and custom turned shafts. All have slip yoke drive shafts as well. On the other hand, my 91 Syncro L work van with stock 2.1 wbx has destroyed two rear shafts with the diff. lock engaged in the woods. go figure.... dylan ----- Original Message ---- From: rogersisler2000 (via Flickr) <rogersisler2000@YAHOO.COM> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Sent: Friday, December 29, 2006 10:45:07 AM Subject: VanagonSubaru SVX owners Hi, Sorry about the first posting. The pictures didnt get sent. Here they are.
