The product I used was a gold - silver color. It had the consistncy of oatmeal. I put on 3 coats as percribed on the can. This,on the rear wheel wells. I used a black genaric LOWES product on the front.I was a mess, and looks a mess, but has not failed. The kool seal went on smooooth and looked great. It failed to stick ,though. Both front and reare areas were cleaned very well before appling the products. I need to add, a low pressure car tire that will have a load rating for the Vanagon (inflate to about 35 psi), willgive youthe best bang forthe sound proofing dollar. The high presure rubber transmits that sounnd. Better to not make the sound than cover it up. |
