Dan, I nor anyone else has heard a peep from you on this subject for days.
See copied messages below. What we want to know is:
When are you going to repair Max's muffler ?
How your going to repair Max's muffler ?
How your going to rebuild confidence in the Vanagon community so I can
sell your mufflers ?
How your going to compensate me for lost business and time ?
Unless I have satisfactory answerers to these question this week I will
be seeking legal aid in having this problem resolved.

Hold It Max---Don't Go jumping the Gun yet---
Here is a message I got from the head Guru at Spam Canland this morning.
It sounds like he's going to be fixing your muffler---when?
Who the hell know's.
But after I made him an offer he couldn't refuse he came up with this
resolve.
Didn't you see the message I sent him, and Frank offering to do all of
his welding repairs on this side of the for a fee?
Check this out--and get ahold of Frankie--
Things may have gotten better for you and the Spam can--
Hold on to your britches---: )

Terry, just to be clear , we have always sent out the brackets required
and we will gladly weld on the new ones at no charge once we have the
muffler in hand.

<<Danny Boy, I'm sure you'll hear from Terry on this one ! However,
here's what we ALL want to know. So answer this question for all of
us out here in Vanagon land to read.
Why does a customer who put faith in your company and spent
approximately $500 for your Lifetime Warranted muffler have to spend
approximately <WBR>two hours&R the muffler then either pay for
shipping to you and wait until it comes back or pay to have someone
locally repair your improperly made muffler ? All the while this
project is under way the vehicle is undriveable, cost the
customer more <WBR and you nothing ? You made the mufflers
with an improperly designed bracket system that is now failing and your
doing what ?
