The map that everyone here "needs" is called "Quebec's Far North." One can call Tourism Quebec at: 1 877 266-5687. I just called them and I was initially told that the map did not exist, then that they were out, and after getting through 2 levels of supervisors.......they will send the map + a general Quebec map + provincial parks map + camp-grounds of Quebec. Ask for them all. FYI: http://www.bonjourquebec.com/ca-en/accueil0.html and I'd suggest that you each contact: Tourism Newfoundland ( http://www.newfoundlandandlabradortourism.com/welcome.zap ) and Tourism Nova Scotia ( http://novascotia.com/en/home/default.aspx ) and Tourism New Brunswick: http://www.tourismnewbrunswick.ca/index.htm for free maps and lists of campgrounds. Do it now. Also here are some posts that I've made to vanagon.com re doing the Labrador loop. Please NOTE the dates of the posts, and some posts point to other posts: http://gerry.vanagon.com/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind0301A&L=vanagon&P=R5959 http://gerry.vanagon.com/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind0301A&L=vanagon&P=R13441 http://gerry.vanagon.com/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind0301D&L=vanagon&P=R10684 http://gerry.vanagon.com/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind0202D&L=vanagon&P=R18700 http://gerry.vanagon.com/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind0202D&L=vanagon&P=R22039 FWIW, I did not follow through on my planned trip in 2003. I'm cc'ing this to the vanagon.com list so that it will be in the archives. OK? Malcolm (Halifax) --- Joy Hecht <jhecht@alum.mit.edu> wrote: > So, how shall we proceed from here?
