I'm sure they're wonderful rigs...but, sadly I'm one of those stubborn curmudgeons who can't quite break down and spend money on a non-European vehicle. Something about old dogs and new tricks, or some such nonsense. I ended up with a $250 '89 Audi 90 Quattro, which I'll be nursing back to health. Should make a nifty little sub-$1k winter vehicle. Still looking for a Syncro and/or Audi Quattro Avant, though.
