Just use standard 60/55W bulbs. Definitely DO NOT get any sort of "blue" bulb, they're for poseurs who want people to think they have HID lighting. They actually have less light output and increase glare. Most of them are also illegal in the US.

If you want an upgrade from the standard bulbs, there are "+50" bulbs available from the major manufacturers - Osram SilverStar (_not_ Sylvania SilverStar), Philips VisionPlus, Narva RangePower+50 are examples.
