Chris,

We do not crate our dog in the Westy or home for that matter. I should mention that Zoey is a Great Dane and any crate that would fit her(if you could get her to enter it) would fill the van and we would have to leave our gear behind. Zoey rides on the floor behind the passenger front seat so she can look out of the window, I would put her behind the rear seat but then I would need a place for the gear that rides there.
