If you have just assembled the engine and it is now the first time you are starting, some will give you advice you would never think of. One kind of curious about the history that lead to your replacing all those. What was happening before? hI All- I just replaced my plug wires, coil wire, distributor cap,and rotor-now the engine won't crank over for more than 3 seconds.yes,I did (I think) right wiring,1-4-3-2 firing order, rotor turning clock-wise,#1 being at the notch in the ditributor...did I do something reallly dumb,or did my starter just decide to suicide out of jealousy?-batterey is fully charged, connections are clean, tight, the battery shop says battery is just fine any opinions? Mike
