Duh, I searched the archives. Who'd of thought?

The window spacers I have were from www.autotech.com Part # 99.837.9.135 for $20 in 1998

I couldn't find a way to search a part number on their site today to see if they are still available. I think they were a little wider than the 7mm type in my last e-mail. I can't go out an measure mine right now as it's just too late and I'm afraid of the dark. If it matters i can check it out in the a.m.

I seem to remember that, since the spacers are plastic, the instructions included the use of carzy glue on the cogs to keep the plastic splines from wearing out. I burned through the first pair of spacers pretty quickly BUT I didn't follow the crazy glue suggestion. I installed the next pair of spacers with the crazy glue and they've held up for about 6 years.
