I've been using a Pioneer AVIC N2 for a couple of years, with the iPod adapter. The Pioneer's controls of the iPod were pretty primitive, but the sound was good.

I just swapped in a new Pioneer AVIC N3 for the N2 (newer model, with essentially same features.) the iPod controls are MUCH better. Actually useful. (note that the AVIC N3 doesn't have a iPod adapter built it, it requires an extra cost add-on.)
