Subject:      Play in throttle shaft

I was checking my throttle position switch for idle, and found it was not
clicking when the throttle was allowed to close, but if I pulled up the
throttle shaft, it did click on throttle close.  When the throttle is open,
I have about 1mm of vertical play in the throttle shaft.  Excessive?  is
there an adjustment or shim to raise the throttle shaft?  I do not detect
much axial play as if the bore in the throttle body is worn.
