In '84 when Porsche entered the first 4wd 911, they entered two
cars.  In typical Porsche fashion, the first car was the "race"
car and the other was packed with spares and driven by mechanics--
to support the first car.  They came in 1st and 6th--typical Porsche
fashion!  ;-)
