I'd get a copy of Nigel Calder's Boatowner's Mechanical and Electrical Manual; the third edition is the most up to date. Don't let the title fool you most of what he has to say on the subject is as applicable to RVs and Westys as it is to boats. This really pretty much considered the bible of on the subject by experienced cruisers and sailors. The author has probably 100,000 nm of bluewater sailing under his keel, decades of experience, and is considered one of the true experts in the field by most. This is very serious and dense book. No fluff or meaningless filler here.

Good Luck, Sam
