Stuff and nonsense! Piffle and humbug! I've been on
crutches for four weeks now (four to go) with my left
foot and calf in a cast, and immediately after reading
your post I went out for a spin in the 4-speed Westy
to be certain I was not missing something. Nothing to
it, though I would not advise you try it if you're
still on painkillers.
Just be glad you don't live with the kind of person
who brings home a kid's Tigger slipper, found in the
alley during a dog walk, that she converts to a toe
snood and insists that you wear it to cover your
exposed tootsies.
You're right, though, cast-and-crutches is a massive
PITA for as long as it lasts. Heal fast.
