Mercedes C-class ET37 steel 15" wheels will fit the Syncro fine. For a 2wd spacers would be needed up front though tire size makes a difference.

Mercedes wheels have a larger center hole that fits Vanagons. Audi/VW wheels not made for Vanagons usually have too small of a center hole for up front.
