It's an issue I'm dealing with too on my 90GL. Took everything apart only to find the washer hose cracked at the rear hatch hinge. Not sure if that blew the fuse, but a new fuse did the trick. The point of all of this is that if your hose is cracked back there, it's likely that the wires could be fractured as well. Big problem with the middle 90's Audi 100 CS Quattro wagons with over 110k on them.

Fishing that new acquarium tubing back to the washer bottle was a real trip, but we gotterdun.
