I see that the McGill university senate has adopted a new set of rules
for
student conduct. After reading these, it seems to me that they would
make a
nice Code of Conduct for listmembers. As vanagon enthusiasts all want to
present our best face to the community at large, don't we? I know
eschewing
these will be a challenge to some members, but working together I know
we
can do it!

Unacceptable Vanagon Owner behaviour:

cursing

tattooing, head shaving, piercing, or branding

mocking or degrading any individual or social group

disrobing or appearing nude in a public or private place

engaging in, or simulating, sexual acts including or excluding others
based
on specific characteristics

providing personal service to senior members

making prank calls or harassing others

conducting interrogations

performing calisthenics not related to a sport

deprivation of sleep, or food, or hygiene

paddling, whipping, beating or kicking

serving alcohol to minors

consuming alcohol or illegal drugs

staging drinking games or competitions

destroying, defacing or stealing property

I also think we should come up with a cool patch for our leather
jackets,
but that's another thread.
