VW had two available last week. My name is on one. List $2,695. Hoping it has a new case. 12 month warranty.

-----OK Volks------- I'm looking for some good advice from Vanagon owners who can offer the best suggestions for purchasing a new/rebuilt Vanagon 2.1 replacement engine for my 88 GL. I have read about the Gowesty 2.3 upgrade engine and I am considering this engine. This engine will cost me around $5,000 should I receive my total core credit. I am not considering switching the engine type. I want to stick with a Wasserboxer 2.1 engine. Please provide me some good feedback on where I should purchase the 2.1 engine based on your experience and knowledge of rebuilders. Gowesty included fuel injectors with the 2.3 upgrade but they no longer provide them now. Thanks for your input.

Jerry KY 88 GL BUS-ter
