Subject: gluing bodypanels on - BAD IDEA

if anyone wants to see some long-term results of gluing body panels on - come on over. i have a parts van here that was rearended lightly, lower valence was cut off and new panels "glued" on by a bodyshop using the adhesive that you are all talking about, and the whole area is now swiss cheese (rotted) because the metal did not stay bonded to the glue..and the area around the glue is rusted..

you can talk this stuff up all you want but it doesnt hold up in the long run..
