Don't go there. Would hate to read a newspaper story about a drowned Vanagon owner.

If you have moving water over a couple of inches deep, it's way to dangerous. A foot of water with any movement can move your vehicle right off the road, then you will be in real du-du because most roads are slightly elevated above the shoulder for drainage purposes. Immediately off the road the water deepens quickly. You would be going from the frying pan into the fire.
