Poor Matilda. I hope she doesn't have abandonment issues! Please remember to visit her out in that cold, lonely driveway, and share some time with her. Make sure she knows she has not been forgotten, and that this separation is only temporary. (;-P

Actually, sorry to hear about your injury. I hope you heal quickly and without issues. I also hope you didn't make it much worse with all that walking immediately after the injury...

(end of vanagon content... :-)

I am now the happy owner of two crutches, one big fiberglass splint and one broken foot bone. It sucks! All sympathy greatly needed!!! Who knew that I could break my foot, just by being clumsy and tripping on the curb??? Surely not I, especially not before I continued walking another mile and a half to where I was going! Teach me to figure I should get exercise by walking all around town...

I have at least figured out how to carry a bowl of soup from the kitchen to the dining room table on crutches without spilling it. And thanks to global warming I don't have to contend with snow and ice on my crutches. And thank goodness my Prius doesn't take two feet to drive, and it's my left foot that I broke!

Yeah yeah, I know there are MUCH more serious problems in the world. But I still want sympathy, please!!!!

Now, should I really send this email, or just quit bitching and hit the delete key??? Oops, there goes the "send" button!

Joy
