Owww! Joy, that smarts, even to hear the tale told, much less to experience it. Sorry to hear of it.

I suppose you have a whole 'nother view of the importance of what is meant by "de toe bone conneka to da foot bone".

Maybe a quiet evening in the company of good friends, a cup of coffee enlivened with a shot of scotch, and a couple of rounds of "Dem Bones" would lighten the load.

BTW, give Matilda a couple of love pats for us all. She's gonna feel neglected.
