I've been running a carb since 1997 on a 1991 Syncro westy. trick is to get the proper VW air intake manifold from Europe. after that a Weber DFAV and jet kit and adapter plate and low pressure fuel pump and 009 distributor and you're off. Problem is emmissions testing in your state???

Search the archives (year by year) for Stebbins and carb and you'll get all I have written. You can look at my set up at: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=340164 Malcolm
