Hi,

One of the best ways I've found to remove duct tape and bumper stickers, etc.,is to spray the item with WD 40 and let the WD 40 soak into the tape or bumper sticker for a few hours. The WD 40 "dilutes" the adhesive to a point where you can remove the tape or sticker and most of the adhesive easily. You can then spray more WD 40 onto the remaining adhesive and wipe it away. WD 40 does not seem to harm paint (unless its really chalky) or chrome...
