Yes. It is after the pump to protect the injectors. I have heard that the filter is after the pump because having a clogged filter before the pump can burn out the pump since it uses the fuel to cool itself. (Of course, this does not explain the plastic pre-filter) My understanding is that the pre-filter was on the California Vanagons only. Anyone know why?
