Hi Tom: Thanks for the explanation, it make sense. You never know when an inexpensive gadget out there might do the trick though. Sounds like our best insurance is to carry a small auxiliary tank and one of those adapters that was mentioned (was it "stay-a -while"?). Sounds like a good investment, and worth the peace of mind.
