I'll be 65 next month and I've only owned 11 VWs.  The only brand new
one was a '72 Beetle with the Wunderbug (37 Ford looking) front end.

I've had my '84 GL 7 pass since '91 and my '85 GL Westy since '02.

I was a Submarine Sonar Tech and diver in the US Navy and was on active
duty from 1959 to 1981.
