Subject: Re: Compost occurs

Hi -

I am a 63 year old lurker on this list for some time. My father bought a 1959 VW new for $1695 and I thought it was great.

I have owned several bugs, a Ghia, several 356A's, Type 3's, busses, and now vanagons. My daughters first car was a bug. She is now on the road in my wife's vanagon.

I must say that I am not comfortable reading about how some vendor screwed somebody. Unfortunate events do occur. The art is in how the situation can be resolved amicably. It is a mistake to think that anger is a tool that can be used to solve a problem.

Anybody that is willing to do the work to serve my community by providing goods and services that I need deserves my respect.

BTW, my Speedster was imported by a US Serviceman who brought it home with factory reclining seats!

Ron
