Does it count if you actually DID die? Even if it was just for a very short while, and as a result of a dumb motorcycle accident. I am one of those few who can claim that distinction! My DOD was May 25, 1965. Does that also mean that I have two birthdays? What do I have put on my gravestone?

Just food for thought. Route 66 Rider! Ramon Hill Live Long and Be Free

>> How about considering how close to that dreaded "end" you are? I completely failed to die in my 20s so have resolved simply not to. We'll see if that works.

Usually, I forget how old I am, but we'll say 33. Doesn't seem much different than when that first digit was a 2, although maybe i'm a bit slower.

VW credentials: '01 Golf TDI (god, I love this car) '96 Jetta Wolfy (totalled, very uncomfortable and lousey powerband) '91 Vanagon Carat (miss her, looking for another in Orly blue) '87 Golf '83.5 Westy (will need rust attention soon, but would drive her anywhere) '82 Vanagon diesel (bright yellow. At least people could see it before they ran it over) '79 Champagne Bus (given by a client ? sent to Europe for live near the homeland) '78 Champagne Westy (didn't fit :( ) '78 Westy '72 Beetle (bought w/ my dad @ 16. Overheated on the way home, and that was the best it ever ran) '71 Ghia (towed home for $300. My first car, but no rockers or front beam after a couple years)

Besides my wife's Jeep and previous 4-runner, this is all we've owned.

john
