in the USA the only vanagon campers that got this single middle swival seat on lockbox OPTION were some '84 wolfsburg edition full campers (most came with 2 person middle seat) some '85 full campers (most came w/ 2 person middle seat) and very few '86 full campers (most '86's didnt even come with either seat, just the tracks)..

my '86 westy had the tracks, but didnt come with either seat when new. my ex 85 westy had the single swival, and i had a '84 wolfy westy that came w/ the 2 person middle.

and they were all tan herringbone capt chairs on the box. the box was brown.

though you can spray the box black and put a grey capt. chair on there if you want it for a late model camper..

for canadians, the floor tracks were optional up thru '91 on the full campers..so like Kim said, the grey single middle swival seat on lockbox was used in canada.. still a rare piece in canada..
