<DIV class=RTE>My '90 Vanagon GL has a bad ignition switch.&nbsp; I have a new "module" coming from the dealership.&nbsp; The VW specialist at the dealership told me the installation was a snap, and that I could easily handle it.&nbsp; I've located it behind the lock cylinder, but I can't figure out how to remove the switch module.&nbsp;&nbsp; </DIV>

<DIV class=RTE>I consulted my Bentley manual, and it sure looks like I have to remove the steering wheel and the wiper and turn signal wands in order to get to the lock/key/switch unit.&nbsp; This is NOT what I call a "snap" install!!</DIV>
<DIV class=RTE>Who's right on this?&nbsp; the VW expert at the dealership or the Bentley?</DIV>
