If I remember correctly you can take the old one out via the slit that the window normally slides up and down in. Put the new one in the same way. You must remove the window glass and rubber around the slit and you should have enough room to pull the regulator out and put the new one in.

I need to replace the window assembly in my 83.5 Westy on the drivers side. I have the door panel off and have no idea how to get it out. It's not listed in the Bentley manual. Other than hacksawing off half the door, this one has me perplexed.

Suggestions?

Please CC me, I'm in digest mode.

Thanks, Bryan
