For all the airheads out there running their stock exhaust, rip it off now and get the muffler that bolts straight to the heater boxes ie. German Supply part no. 071 251 053 E

I swapped my US federal exhaust with crossover pipe, EGR and cat with this unit, and the power difference is incredible. This van now moves about as well as most other vehicles I've driven, which have been mostly Japanese four bangers, but also including a 6 cylinder Nissan Quest minivan. There is a big hill near my place that I drove up this morning, and doing 50kph in third gear, I was able to ACCELERATE as I climbed it. Not much acceleration, but in the past I had considered doing it in second gear.

I understand that in the US this setup is mandatory, tho in Canada it is not. But if you are in the US, I would even suggest hanging onto the old system and popping it back on when you go for smog testing. Maybe that's a no-no, but when you consider the massive reduction in engine efficiency that occurs with this setup, you will end up burning more fuel and therefore producing more pollution. It makes no sense at all to have this on the AC vans.

I have never before experienced such a dramatic change in power with such a simple modification.

Nathaniel
