Subject: See-thru LP Tank

We all know it would be nice to know exactly how much LP is in the tank and sometimes a little extra capacity would be nice, too. I've checked out all sorts of options: aluminum tanks, 2nd westy tanks, extend-a-stay set-up with small portable tank, gauges, sensor strips, etc. But today I just ran across an interesting item I've never seen before that could solve a few problems if it were only the right size. Check this out:

Clear, very light weight fiberglass propane tanks! You can see the liquid level inside! I wonder if these guys would make up a bunch of small horizontal tanks that would fit the westy mounts, but maybe a bit longer so the capacity is upwards of 4.5 gallons instead of 3.

On the downside, I am not sure whether fiberglass is strong enough for under-van use or if the DOT of use on camper.

Any thoughts?
